Are you a SharePoint Functional Designer who loves turning complex compliance and governance requirements into smart, user-friendly solutions? Do you know your way around Microsoft Purview and enjoy working with senior stakeholders on meaningful projects? We're looking for an experienced SharePoint Functional Designer to join a high-performing project team supporting a Canberra-based client . You'll be part of a collaborative functional team working alongside top-tier technical SharePoint experts, playing a key role in shaping and delivering enterprise-grade SharePoint solutions with a strong Purview focus . This is a 2-month contract with a high possibility of extension to be based out of Canberra, Sydney or Melbourne . What You'll Be Doing Partnering with business and technical stakeholders to uncover, analyse, and translate requirements Designing functional SharePoint solutions aligned to compliance, governance, and data lifecycle management Configuring and optimising Microsoft Purview capabilities within SharePoint Working closely with technical teams to ensure smooth delivery and integration Facilitating workshops, contributing to documentation, and attending occasional onsite meetings in Canberra Advising on best practices for data classification, retention, and information protection Supporting testing, training, and change management activities What You'll Bring Proven experience as a SharePoint Functional Designer in enterprise environments Strong, hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview (governance, compliance, risk) Experience working with Revan Confidence engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders Strong documentation and presentation skills Nice to Have Experience working with government or public sector clients Comfortable working in hybrid environments with remote collaboration tools
